Kansas University Cheerleaders

KU has a great cheer tradition winning NCA Nationals in 1990 and 1995 and placing 5th at UCA nationals in 2009. They have a 110-year tradition and they are in southwest Kansas to share it with us. The KU Cheerleaders cheer at Final Fours, bowl games, and UCA nationals. The cheerleading program and KU focuses on a better cheerleader, a better student, and a person that strives to improve themselves and their communities. The KU Cheerleaders were at the Hoop for Hope game last year and helped with the cheer clinic.

























Wichita State University Cheerleaders

The Shocker Cheer Team is a co-ed squad. The Wichita State University cheer team is a visible organization not only on the campus of WSU but to the city of Wichita and surrounding areas. The WSU cheer team also travels to Shocker sporting events and make many appearances around the Wichita area. The cheeleading team at Wichita State is highly competitive and nationally recognized as one of the top teams in the country. The cheer squad finished second for three years in a row at NCA Collegiate Nationals and also received the 2004, 2005 & 2006 Innovative Choreography Award in collegiate cheer for Division 1. The WSU cheerleaders will be cheering at the 2010 Hoops for Hope Game.
